GB/T -2000
Foreword
This standard is revised to GB/T -1995 based on the international mission (IEC) 60983 standard “Miniature lamps” chapter 1 of the second edition in February, 1995: General Provisions, Chapter 2—Road vehicle supplementary lamps. They are technically equivalent, and the writing form is according to GB/T -1993. The leaflet numbers, illustration numbers and identification diagram numbers are consistent with IEC 60983.
The name of second edition of IEC 60983 standard has been changed from the “Road vehicle lamps-supplementary lamps” of the first edition in March, 1990 to “Miniature lamps”, and the lamp types have been extended from simply the road vehicle supplementary lamps to electric torch bulbs (Chapter 3), head lamps for minery (Chapter 4), and the general provisions (Chapter 1) and two appendixes. Because this standard is the third part (GB/T ) under the main title of GB 15766 “Road vehicle filament lamps”: supplementary lamps, so the name of this standard still adopts the “Road vehicle lamps-supplementary lamps”, and does not include the chapter 3 and 4 and two appendixes in IEC 60983 which are not related to “Road vehicle lamps-supplementary lamps”.
Compared to the first edition in 1995, this standard has added the reference standard, definitions, leaflets codification system, symbols, technical requirements and test process, mended guide of the usage of halogen tungsten lamps, so in the series standards of GB 15766 “Road vehicle filament lamp”, it has relatively higher independency and more specific requirements, so it is easier to implement.
The amount of types of lamps in this standard is the same as the first edition, no type is eliminated or added, but the leaflets and leaflet numbers are rearranged, and the type names are added in the leaflets.
Under the main title of “Road vehicle filament lamps”, GB 15766 includes the following three parts:
Part 1 (GB ): Dimensions, photoelectric performance requir
