Reliability Running Test Method For Automobiles
1 Subject contents and scope of applicability
This standard specifies the reliability running test method for automobiles.
This standard is applicable to the reliability running test plete vehicle during type approval and quality evaluation of various automobiles.

GB7031 Vehicle vibration: Describing method for road surface irregularity
GB/T 12534 Motor vehicles - General rules of road test method
3.1 Routine reliability test
Reliability test performed according to a standard under the conditions of highway and normal road.
3.2 Quick reliability test
Reliability test perform on the roads of the testing field with certain quick coefficient.
3.3 Maintenance after failure
Repair performed after the automobile has failure.
3.4 Preventive maintenance
Repair and maintenance performed according to the cycle and items specified by the automobile manual.
3.5 Potential failure
Failure that has occurred, but not yet discovered, or discovered in the process of preventive maintenance and overhaul inspection.
3.6 Equivalent failure number
The number of general failures converted from failures at various levels with certain coefficient according to their hazardness.
4 Testing conditions
4.1 Loading quality
The loading quality is specified according to Article 1 of Chapter 3 in GB/T12534.
4.2 Testing roads
4.2.1 Routine reliability testing road
Routine reliability testing road surface levels are according to the specificationsin Table 1 of GB7031.

Road on plains and rolling terrains with the road surface smoothness of Level C or above, maximum gradient less than 5%, where the road surface is wide and straight,with good range of vision, and the automobile can keep driving at a high speed for a driving distance of more than 50km.
22.214.171.124 Bad road
Road with firm roadbed and uneven road surface. Obvious washboard wave, and equally distributed fish scale pit etc. Road surface unevenness is Level E or below, when the test vehicle is driving on such road, it should be subject to strong vibration and distortion load, but there should be no heavy impact.
126.96.36.199 Mountain road
Average gradient is over 4%, maximum gradient is 15%, continuous slope length is mor than 3km, and the road surface smoothness is Level C and above
188.8.131.52 Urban road
Main traffic road in big and medium cities, and the road surface smoothness is Level C and above.
