Foreword This standard is equal to the second edition in 1993 and the first revision in 1994 of International mission (IEC) 60810 standard “Lamps for road motor vehicle—performance requirements”. However, GB/T -1995 “Lamps for road motor vehicle—performance requirements” referred to IEC 60810:1993 Second Edition. Reference standard is added in Chapter 1 of this standard. The definition of “Heavy load lamp” and the heavy load test conditions of narrow band random vibration are added (see Appendix B, among them, the heavy load test conditions of narrow band random vibration is under consideration). This standard has added three types of lamps, namely , W2W and T2W in Table 3 and Table 4 of Chapter 4. This standard has added the requirements for the lamp intermittent (flickering) work in Appendix A— Life test conditions. This standard has added narrow band frequency sweep random vibration (NBR), it is equally effective as the wide band frequency sweep random vibration (WBR). One of them can be chosen according to the conditions, but WBR is mended. The requirements for ignition point open/close cycle of lamps during vibration are added (see Appendix B). This standard has added the requirements for the glass envelope’s strength in Chapter 2 and glass envelope’s strength test in Appendix C. Under the main title of “Lamps for road motor vehicles”, GB 15766 includes the following three parts: Part 1 (GB ): Dimensional, photoelectrical performance requirements Part 2 (GB/T ): Performance requirements Part 3 (GB/T ): Assistant lamps The Appendix A, B and C are all the appendixes to this standard. Starting from the date of implement, this standard replaces GB/T -1995. This standard was proposed by National Light Industry Bureau. This standard is under the management of Electric Light Source Branch of National Lighting Electrical Appliances mittee. This standard was drafted by Henan Province Anyang Bulb Factory. The main
