英汉委婉语对比研究——以“死亡委婉语”为例.pdf

摘要作为一种语言现象,委婉语的构成方式独特,并有规律地发展变化。同时, 委婉语又是一种文化现象,反映了中西方文化不同的价值取向和不同的风俗****惯。伴随着人类文明的发展和社会的进步,委婉语的应用更加广泛。死亡这一永恒的话题,使死亡委婉语成为委婉语中一个重要的组成部分。本文通过对英汉两种语言中的死亡委婉语进行对比研究,旨在帮助语言学****者和应用者对英汉两种语言中的死亡委婉语的语言特征和其所反映出的不同的文化价值取向有一个更好的了解,从而在语言交际中恰当地理解和使用。本文分为五章。第一章介绍了本论文写作的动机、目的、方法和论文结构。第二章主要分析的是委婉语作为语言现象的一些特征,如:委婉语的特点、构成、发展变化的规律和死亡委婉语的分类。第三章讨论了委婉语和文化的关系。第四章是本论文的重点,从形式结构、语义结构和文化三个方面对比分析英汉死亡委婉语。第五章是结论。关键词:死亡委婉语;文化;对比 Abstract As a linguistic phenomenon,the structures ofeuphemisms are unique,and develop ,euphemism is also a culture phenomenon,which manifests different culturalorientations thedevelopment ofhuman society,theemployment ofeuphemisms isgrowing inbothfrequency andintensity.
