Unit Introduction
There are three basic forms of ownership structures for business entities: sole proprietorship, partnership and the diagram of pany’anizational structure.
Almost all large and medium-sized businesses anized as corporations, such as General Motors, Bank of America, Microsoft and General Electric. But not all businesses are corporations. For instance, small ventures can be owned and managed by a single individual. This is called sole proprietorship. In other cases, several people may join to own and manage a partnership.
