Canada: (mosaic )also a nation of immigrants , but they do not throw their old ways of life and they adapt themselves to the new environment .

Metis : emerged when French fur traders married Indian women .
Canadian population grows because of the official immigration policy .
Immigration policy depends on the labor market in Canada .
