1 Scope This national standard specifies the terminology, general specifications, particular specifications and the examination method on passenger car external protrusions. It does not apply to exterior rear-view mirrors or to towing devices. This standard applies to passenger cars. Another motor vehicle of category M1 may carry out with reference to it. 2 Definition Passenger Car exterior protrusions The body external protrusions which likely to catch on pedestrians, cyclists or motor cyclists hit by bruising against it.
